Season 3: Buildings, Fuel & Snowman
Stop upgrading the right buildings, hoard fuel for future seasons, and squeeze a permanent +20% out of Snowman Mania before Season 3 ends.
Season 3 rewards players who plan ahead. This guide covers three decisions that pay off for the rest of the season and beyond: which seasonal buildings to prioritise, how to manage your fuel ahead of Seasons 4 and 5, and how far to push the Snowman event for a lasting combat boost.
1. Seasonal Buildings
A key turning point in Season 3 is when you can reliably defeat level 60 leopards and frostbanes. You may be able to do this before reaching Biolab 30, depending on whether you:
- Are on the Support tree in the Mastery Hall
- Have bought the Season Journey pass
- Have bought the Wartime Investment
As soon as you can defeat level 60s, you can stop upgrading your Biolab. From that point, shift your focus to your Combat buildings instead. These deliver strong Attack, Defence and Damage boosts that will help you in combat for the rest of the season.
2. Fuel Management
Fuel demand climbs sharply in the seasons that follow, so it pays to think about your reserves before Season 3 ends.
| Season | Fuel Requirement (vs S3) |
|---|---|
| Season 4 | Slightly more than S3 |
| Season 5 | At least twice as much as S3 |
Frostbanes are a major fuel sink. Once you are happy with the level of your seasonal buildings and no longer need frostcores for further upgrades, consider doing fewer frostbanes as you approach the end of the season.
3. Snowman Mania
The Snowman Mania event is the best opportunity in Season 3 to earn a permanent combat decoration. The target to aim for is a Level 4 Snowman decoration, which grants an extra 20% Attack and Defence.
To get there, raise your snowman to level 16 in the event. This awards enough Zazz Snowman decorations (18) to upgrade your decoration all the way to Level 4. This is the milestone every player should try to reach by the end of Season 3.
Make Level 4 Easier
You can collect extra Snowman decorations from other sources, which lightens the load needed from the event itself. For example, completing the Fishing Index rewards additional decorations, making the Level 4 upgrade noticeably easier to reach.
4. Season 3 Checklist
In short, three priorities will carry you cleanly through the back half of Season 3:
- Buildings: Stop the Biolab once you can beat level 60s, then pour upgrades into Combat buildings.
- Fuel: Ease off frostbanes once your seasonal buildings are done, and save fuel for the heavier demands of S4 and S5.
- Snowman: Reach snowman level 16 to unlock the Level 4 decoration for a permanent +20% Attack and Defence.
