Season 4 Guide
It's dinosaur time — Season 4 reskins the frozen season into the Cretaceous, adds brutal new SvS warfare and is noticeably tougher on free-to-play players.
1. Overview
Season 4 keeps the core structure of earlier seasons but wraps it in a dinosaur theme. Most of the mechanics you already know return under new names, alongside several genuinely new events. Be aware that Season 4 is less friendly to free-to-play players than previous seasons — there are fewer free rewards, and some of the best items are very expensive in diamonds.
2. Renamed Content
If you played an earlier season, almost everything has simply been re-themed. The functions are unchanged — only the names and visuals differ.

3. What Stays the Same
The following seasonal systems carry over unchanged from previous seasons:
- Strategy: focus on your Biotech Lab and Greenhouses until you can kill level 60 NPCs, then shift focus to combat buildings
- The Glory Points system
- Glory Wars
- Seasonal building functions (only the names change)
- Spending options
4. New Heroes
Season 4 introduces 3 new heroes that give large boosts to damage. This makes them strong on their own, but their value grows further when stacked with other seasonal heroes. Combine them with your existing seasonal roster to maximise output.
5. Events
Volcano War
A new SvS event that runs on Thursdays and produces heavy troop losses, so prepare accordingly.
- Only the President can organise the event
- The President chooses normal mode (involves 1 other state) or hard mode (involves 3 other states); the mode determines the rewards given after the event
- Participating players receive state rewards (from the President) and alliance rewards (from R5s)
Ancient Dinosaurs
One huge dinosaur spawns per week, on Sundays at midday (server time), and all players can attack it.
- Possible spawns include Ankylosaurus, Dimetrodon, Pterosaur, T-Rex and Triceratops
- The event lasts only a few minutes, so being on time is essential
- Each dinosaur drops unique rewards such as fossils and Dino Eggs
- Each dinosaur is expected to spawn twice over the course of the season
Trade Hub
Very similar to the old Arctic Icepit, but the fishing pit is replaced by a shop and the currency is diamonds.
The alliance that owns a hub gains several privileges:
- Re-stock the shop
- Get early access to items
- Are the only ones who can buy Exclusive items
- Decide when to open the shop to the public
- All items can only be bought once
- The shop refreshes daily at 11:00 (server time)
- A portion of all diamonds spent in each shop is returned to the owner as red packets
Bio Institute Shop
Open only on Saturdays and Sundays, with Dino Eggs as currency. Here you can get badges, wrenches, hero fragments, exclusive equipment fragments, fossils, speedups and resources.
Dino Egg Defence
A new, slightly harder version of Zombie Siege. If your city burns, the dinosaurs will smash your Dino Eggs — so defend carefully to protect this important currency.
Fossil Album
Fish are replaced by fossils, and there is no more waiting to catch them.
- There are 20 fossils to find
- Duplicate fossils can be traded for Dino Eggs
Hatch of Legends
Every player chooses one of three eggs at the start — Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus or T-Rex. All three offer the same boost of up to 30% troop attack.
- Hatch your chosen egg
- Raise the baby dinosaur (using the same mechanic as the Season 3 snowman)
- Once you reach level 16, you can turn your tanks into your chosen dinosaur

Season 4 is the dinosaur season: familiar systems under new names, three powerful new damage heroes, and a slate of events ranging from the high-stakes Volcano War to the weekly Ancient Dinosaur spawns. Prioritise your Biotech Lab and Greenhouses early, secure a Trade Hub for your alliance, protect your Dino Eggs, and spend them weekly in the Bio Institute Shop. Free-to-play players should plan carefully, since rewards are tighter and the best items are diamond-heavy this season.
