S5 Tile Upgrades

Season 5 — Moonlit Elegy

Plan your Serum Laboratory, Shadow Spring and combat building progression. Strategic priorities baked in — fill cost cells as you see them in-game.

Recommended priority order

  1. 1 Serum Laboratory — push Virus Resistance first; it gates which monsters you can farm
  2. 2 Shadow Spring — raise it early so Holy Water income compounds
  3. 3 Command Center — the first combat building to level this season
  4. 4 Fire Control Center — offensive power for rallies
  5. 5 Defensive Fortress — pair-level with the Fire Control Center if you anchor a hive
  6. 6 Level the Mysterious Witch to 10 as soon as you can — it switches on the Moonlight Card system
  7. 7 Mop up remaining building levels as Holy Water and Shadow Blood Crystals allow

Serum Laboratory

×1 Max L30 (expected) Priority #1

The source of Virus Resistance — it sets the highest level of Succubus and Werewolf you can attack.

Primary Stat
Virus Resistance
Strategy: Priority #1 all season, as the Bio Lab and Biotech Lab were before it. Without enough Virus Resistance you cannot farm the higher-level monsters, and everything else slows down.

Row L{n} = the upgrade to L{n} (cost shown in-game on the L{n-1}→L{n} screen); the Virus Resist value is the total at L{n}. Cells marked ✓ are confirmed from in-game; the rest are yours to fill in.

Shadow Spring

Max L30 (expected) Priority #2

Passively mines Holy Water — one of the two resources every seasonal building needs.

Primary Stat
Holy Water output / hour
Strategy: Push it early — income compounds for the rest of the season, exactly like the Greenhouses in earlier seasons.

Command Center

×1 Max L30 (expected) Priority #3

Boosts Season Troop DMG (Damage) in season Glory battles.

Primary Stat
Season Troop DMG
Strategy: A flat multiplier that scales everything. The current guides rank it first of the three combat buildings this season.

Strategy: The offensive building — the season's equivalent of the Icy Arsenal and Armory.

Help build the cost data

Last Z: Survival Shooter doesn't publish per-level building costs anywhere — they only exist in-game, and no one has published a Season 5 table yet. As you upgrade each building, your in-game UI shows the exact Shadow Blood Crystals and Holy Water required for the next level. Type those numbers into the cells above and your progress is saved automatically.

If you'd like to share your data so other players benefit, please send a screenshot or copy of your table — we'll merge confirmed numbers into a shared baseline.

Quick FAQ

Does my data sync across devices?

Only if you sign in — the sync bar above saves your tables to your Z Tools account. Otherwise they live in this browser only, and clearing site data removes them.

Are the max levels confirmed?

Not yet. The levels marked “expected” follow the pattern of earlier seasons (the lab, the resource building and the Command Center at L30; the attack and defence buildings at L50). How many Shadow Springs you get is not confirmed either. Trust your in-game values, and tell us if they differ.

What changed from Season 4?

The theme (vampires and werewolves instead of dinosaurs), the names and the resources. The job of each building is the same: a lab for Virus Resistance, a resource building, and three combat buildings for damage, attack and defence.

What are S5 tiles?

Season 5 (Moonlit Elegy) gives Last Z a gothic vampire-and-werewolf setting. The core loop is unchanged — seasonal buildings, monster hunting and Glory Wars — but the buildings, resources and enemies are all new. It also adds the Mysterious Witch and her Moonlight Cards, and night events.

The five seasonal buildings

  • Serum Laboratory — Virus Resistance (the season's Bio Lab)
  • Shadow Spring — mines Holy Water (the season's Greenhouse)
  • Command Center — Season Troop DMG
  • Fire Control Center — Season Troop ATK
  • Defensive Fortress — Season Troop DEF

The two seasonal resources

  • Shadow Blood Crystals — drop from defeating Werewolves and Succubus.
  • Holy Water — mined passively by the Shadow Spring. Higher level = more per hour.

How the data tables work

The exact per-level costs aren't published anywhere public — they only exist in-game. Every cell is editable: fill it as you upgrade and it saves automatically. As confirmed values come in from in-game screenshots they'll be marked with a ✓. If you'd like to share your numbers, let us know.
