Season 3 — Everfrost Era

Plan your Bio Lab, Smart Greenhouse and combat building progression. Strategic priorities baked in — fill cost cells as you see them in-game.

What are S3 tiles?

Season 3 (the Everfrost Era) replaces most of your seasonal buildings from Season 2. Where you used to have multiple labs and arsenals, S3 condenses them into a tighter set of buildings — but the leveling is still where most of your seasonal power comes from. There are 5 building types that matter, plus 4 copies of the Smart Greenhouse. For the full season overview, see the Season 3 wiki guide.

The two new seasonal resources

Unlike standard Last Z buildings (which eat Bread/Wood/Iron/Coin), S3 buildings consume two season-specific resources:

  • ❄️ Frost Cores — drop from killing Snow Leopards and Frost Banes. Only the first 15–30 kills per day reward Frost Cores, so kill Banes first (they give more). Income doubles mid-season once Proliferation activates.
  • 🌸 Ice Blooms — generated passively by your Smart Greenhouses. Higher Greenhouse level = higher output per hour, which is why most players push Greenhouses early.

How the data tables work

The exact per-level Frost Core and Ice Bloom costs aren't published anywhere public — they only exist in-game. We've started seeding the tables with values confirmed from in-game screenshots (marked with a ), plus each building's primary stat per level where known. Every other cell is editable: fill it as you upgrade and it saves to your browser. If you'd like to share your numbers, let us know — we'll roll community contributions into the confirmed baseline.

Recommended priority order

  1. 1 Bio Lab L1 → L28 (chase Virus Resistance for L60 NPC unlocks)
  2. 2 Smart Greenhouse — level all greenhouses evenly to ~L20 (compounds Ice Bloom income early)
  3. 3 Smart Greenhouse — push to L25–26, then stop (saturation point)
  4. 4 Icy Arsenal — leveling begins (highest combat impact, +3% Season ATK/level)
  5. 5 Icy Fort — pair-level with the Arsenal if you anchor a hive (+3% Season DEF/level)
  6. 6 Command Post — steady passive boost (+1% Season DMG/level), max L30
  7. 7 Bio Lab → push to L30 (final virus resistance gains)
  8. 8 Mop up remaining combat building levels as resources allow

The ONLY source of Virus Resistance — gates your ability to fight Level 60 Snow Leopards & Frost Banes (the highest-glory NPCs).

Strategy: Priority #1 all season. Target ~L28 before switching focus to combat buildings. Each level meaningfully raises the NPC level you can reliably kill.

Smart Greenhouse

Passively produces Ice Blooms — your main upgrade resource. Higher level = higher hourly output across all greenhouses. Upgrades are paid in Frost Cores only.

Strategy: Useful to push to ~L25–26, after which Ice Bloom income saturates. Level evenly across all greenhouses. Income compounds, so early investment pays off most.

Last Z: Survival Shooter doesn't publish per-level building costs anywhere — they only exist in-game. As you upgrade each building, your in-game UI shows the exact Frost Cores and Ice Blooms required for the next level. Type those numbers into the cells above and your progress is saved automatically.

Quick FAQ

Does my data sync across devices?

No — costs are saved to your browser's localStorage only. If you clear site data or switch devices, you'll need to re-enter them. To share your tables, use the contact form linked above.

Why is the Icy Arsenal max L50 but Bio Lab only L30?

The combat buildings (Icy Arsenal and Icy Fort) cap at level 50. The Bio Lab and Command Post cap at 30. Smart Greenhouses also cap at 30 but realistically saturate around L25–26 in terms of useful Ice Bloom income.

What if my in-game numbers differ from the confirmed cells?

Trust your in-game values. Buffs, alliance bonuses, and event discounts can change displayed costs slightly. The ✓ cells are confirmed from in-game screenshots, but if you see a stable pattern that doesn't match, that's the most valuable data to share.
