Yeti (Hunter Yeti)
Coordinate, minimise losses, maximise rewards.
With Season 3 underway, here's a clear guide on how to kill the Hunter Yeti properly. Please read this before attacking so we don't waste troops or miss rewards.
What you need to know
- Hunter Yeti is a high-level boss — spawns at Lv.100–350 on the world map. Higher tiers hit harder and reward more.
- You cannot solo it — this is an alliance rally event.
- Rewards drop only when you join the final / successful rally (the one that kills it).
- Daily reward cap is usually 2 per day; some event days raise this to 5.
- Yetis also drop snowballs and snowflakes which feed your Snowman — a 5‑star Snowman gives +30% troop ATK and DEF, so don't skip these.
Step 1 — Prep first
Before joining any rally:
- Upgrade your Biological Lab — this gives the virus resistance you need to survive Yeti hits. It's the most important seasonal building.
- Use your strongest 5 heroes with the right traits / equipment slotted in.
- Make sure all troops are fully healed before the rally goes out.
- Don't have your troops out doing boomers, digs or mining when a rally is incoming — tied‑up troops can't join.
Step 2 — Always rally (no solo attacks)
- R4/R5 will start rallies.
- If no R4/R5 is online, designate someone to lead rallies.
- Everyone joins with full marches.
- Use your strongest march first.
Step 3 — Join smart (and position well)
- Weaker players → join early.
- Stronger players → join later.
Important tip: Wait until the Hunter Yeti is close to our hive / your HQ before joining or launching rallies. This reduces travel time, gets faster hits, and helps us cycle rallies quicker. Long marches waste rally time and drop your damage.
Step 4 — Limit rallies
- Maximum 3 rallies per Yeti.
- Most Yetis should go down within this.
- Do not spam attacks — you will just fill your hospital.
- If a Yeti has survived 3 full rallies, leave it — the alliance probably doesn't have the power for that tier today.
Step 5 — Watch losses
- Expect some hospitalisation — even with full prep, Yeti rallies put a lot of troops in the hospital.
- Heal between rallies. Get alliance help to speed it up.
- Stop if losses get too high.
Don't trade days of healing for one reward.
Step 6 — Use this trick
If a Yeti is heading toward your HQ:
- Start a rally on it.
- Cancel the rally immediately.
The Yeti will reroute and head somewhere else — cheap, free defence.
Step 7 — Daily limits
- Standard days → 2 rewards max.
- Some days → up to 5 rewards.
- Stop attacking after you hit your limit — extra kills don't pay out and just cost troops.
Snowman synergy
Yetis are also one of the best ways to feed the Season 3 Snowman:
- Each successful Yeti rally drops snowflakes, which combine into snowballs.
- Throw snowballs at your Snowman to level it. A 5‑star Snowman gives +30% troop attack and defence — one of the biggest passive buffs in the season.
- Don't only farm boomers for snowflakes — Yeti rallies are a major source too.
Final rules
Don't:
- No solo attacks.
- No random rallies.
- No hitting max-level Yetis without approval.
- Follow rally leads.
- Use strongest march.
- Stay near hive for faster rallies.
- Protect your troops.
- Feed your Snowman with the snowballs you earn.
Let's stay coordinated, minimise losses, and maximise rewards.
