Enemy Buster
Hit fast, hit hard and always have an escape plan.
Overview
Every Saturday during Enemy Buster, you can teleport to other states to loot and invade for kills and points. Several other states will also be able to teleport to us. The pattern is simple — teleport in, raid, teleport out — but there are critical things to remember.
All times are in server time. Enemy Buster begins at reset on Friday night and lasts 24 hours.
Shielding Guide
When it runs
Enemy Buster begins at reset Friday night and lasts 24 hours. Other states can teleport into our hive, and we can teleport into theirs.
The core rule
Shield costs
- 24-hour: 2,000 diamonds / 140,000 credits
- 8-hour: 600 diamonds / 40,000 credits
A 24-hour shield activated Friday night covers the entire event window in one go.
Where to buy (priority order)
- Time Limited Shop — quick refresh; grab anything priced in Zent, skip diamond-priced items here.
- VIP Store — better diamond value than other shops; check before anything else.
- Alliance Shop — uses Individual Credits. Save these for urgent shield top-ups when diamonds run dry.
- Items Shop — last resort, most expensive.
Mechanics that matter
- Reinforce while shielded: you can still reinforce other HQs in the hive, and reinforcements get a speed boost when both players are in FiR3 territory.
- Don't attack or rally: doing so drops your shield instantly.
- War Frenzy lockout: after attacking, you must wait 10 minutes before you can use a shield.
- Red on enemy maps: after attacking, you appear red on enemy maps for 1 hour — another reason not to linger unshielded.
Reshield when yours runs out
You must be shielded at all times during Enemy Buster. If your shield drops, you're vulnerable immediately. Reshield ASAP if:
- Your 24-hour shield expires
- You used an 8-hour shield
- You dropped your shield by attacking or rallying
Going offline mid-event
Activate a fresh shield before you log out, even if you shielded earlier. A shield running out while you sleep is exactly when invaders pile on.
Invading Other States
- Always go in a group — going alone is extremely risky. Coordinate so you can all attack the same HQ together, at the same time, and take fewer troop losses.
- Scout first — know which bases are too reinforced and would be a waste of time and troops.
- Share reports and locations in the chat as soon as possible.
- Avoid rallying when invading — it generally takes too long and nobody can teleport out while their troops are gathered for a rally. There are exceptions, but don't plan around being able to rally.
- Only hit nearby HQs — do not send troops far from your base. If your troops are a minute away and a defender teleports next to you, you'll have to wait that full minute before you can escape. You can be zeroed in far less than a minute.
- Hit a few bases, then leave — you can always come straight back to the same hive, but choose a different spot each time. The longer you stay in one position, the more likely you are to get jumped by defenders.
- Keep a random teleporter in your inventory — this is your only means of escape mid-fight. All troops must be inside your HQ for this to work.
- Plan from home — it is better to sit in State 277 and think/plan your next move than to linger in another state.
Defending Our Hive
- Use a shield while offline — the more people shielded, the less divided our forces are while defending.
- Consider shielding even when online — you can still reinforce other HQs in the hive while shielded. Reinforcements get a speed boost when both players are in FiR3 territory, so we can always out-pace attackers.
- If shielded, do not launch attacks or rallies — this will drop your shield.
- If unshielded, stay vigilant — always scout enemies before attacking.
- Fill gaps in the hive — when teleporting back, fill a space near the centre, not the edge.
- Report enemy positions immediately — if you see an enemy teleport into the hive, share their location in alliance chat straight away.
- Use the free teleporter trick to move closer to enemy attackers, so you can reinforce friendly HQs more quickly.
- Keep your troops inside your HQ if you are being attacked — this gives you the best chance of surviving.
- If your HQ is about to fall, use a random teleporter to escape.
Combat Rules of Thumb
- Solo: Do not attack anyone higher level than you.
- Group: Make sure at least one member of the group is higher level than the enemy.
- Rallying on defence: When attacking enemy HQs in our state, try to rally — you get attack and damage boosts, which means fewer troop losses.
- Solo attacks on HQs: Only use your main (and maybe 2nd) squad. Sending all 3 squads can result in accidental mass troop death, leaving you unable to defend if counter-attacked.
- Tank vs HQ: When you attack tanks, your troops go to hospital. When you attack HQs, your troops die.
- Heal in small batches of less than an hour — alliance members can help repeatedly and it becomes much quicker.
After Combat
- War Frenzy: After attacking, you must wait 10 minutes before you can use a shield.
- Visibility: After attacking, you appear red on enemy maps for 1 hour — another reason not to linger in enemy territory.
- Always have spares: Keep a spare shield and a spare random teleporter in your inventory at all times, for emergencies.
