Heroes

Everything you need to know about building squads, levelling heroes and equipping them.

Building Your Squads

You'll have 2 orange, 3 purple and 2 blue heroes from each faction. At max level, divide your formations by faction (e.g. 5 Blood Rose heroes in formation 1).

Until they're all max level, put your strongest 5 heroes in formation 1 and divide the rest across formations 2 and 3. Consider only using your strongest 1–2 formations in combat.

Hero Types

There are 3 types of heroes, indicated by a small icon near their name:

  • Damagers — attack boost
  • Defenders — defence boost
  • Healers — heals your troops

Levelling Up

  1. Prioritise your main squad first — keep them at max level every time you level up your HQ
  2. Then move to your second squad, then third
  3. Within each squad: gold heroes first, then purple, then blue

Hero Equipment

Focus equipment on your main 5. All gold equipment should go on your main squad. Priority order:

  1. Weapons
  2. Helmets
  3. Boots
  4. Chestpieces
VS Duel tip: Save all hero materials for Thursdays (Hero Day), except Hero EXP. You can upgrade hero equipment any time as long as you use other equipment pieces (not Enhancement Alloys).

Hero Skills & Stars

As you level heroes, you unlock extra skills. Increasing star levels makes skills more powerful.

  • Sophia — prioritise for construction boost
  • Amelia — prioritise for research boost

On Hero Day, try to complete half-full stars before starting a new star on a different hero.

For Spenders

Everything above still applies, but you'll likely have extra gold heroes and possibly their Exclusive Equipment (special weapons). These are worth the investment — the special boosts directly affect your fighting stats. Power Cores make a huge difference, so make sure you get extra.
